My controlling dad has caused me to become homeless. No friends can house me

He is not even living in the country but has been dictating where I could stay in the UK. Whenever I have to move, it is a bitter struggle over the semantics of contracts given by prospective landlords as he demands to look through every piece of paperwork being shared with me.

No information can satisfy him. No legal explanations can satisfy him. No peer reassurances can satisfy him. Every single time annoyed everyone who dealt with me. This man who has zero understanding of laws and customs in any part of the UK feels himself as more of an expert than those who have been here for years. His only source of information is random YouTubers, who he believes unquestioningly for mysterious reasons.

Over the summer he shot down a number of house offers due to disagreement with contract semantics while I have been competing with hundreds of thousands for a shelter in any of my preferred towns or cities, even doing this on the very last day of my previous tenancy.

Now, I have become homeless because of him. No friends have available space in their house. I have to stay in hotels on credit. Local councils don’t seem to give a damn either. Jesus Christ

Are you an adult of independent means or do you need your father for financial help?

My mum pays everything, but the dynamics causes or enables him to dictate these stuff...it is difficult.

She simply says they are afraid of me getting conned by crooks.
