Hi there!

Finding accommodation is a struggle sometimes! What are you looking for in an accommodation? Are you trying to go for privately owned accom or the university owned accommodation?

So if you're going tonto first year, uni-owned accommodation is a pretty decent option! Though I'd recommend applying as soon as you can, if you're applying for 2024 entry as it would be a late application. Out of the uni-owned accommodation, there are a couple of ensuite options such as any of the Talybont buildings, Adam Street Gardens, University Hall, Ty Pont Haearn or Clodien House.

A lot of private student accommodation, as you probably have seen, are probably a bit filled up at this point! Students usually apply as early as November. I would say have a go at looking into websites such as Unihomes, which may not necessarily be ensuite, but you can look into places with 1 bathroom per person. Also websites such as SpareRoom often has students wanting to give up their ensuite tenancy, so its worth checking that as well.

Some students also advertise tenancy takeovers here on TSR, so its worth having a look! When people offer their ensuites it doesn't necessarily mean that there is something wrong with the room usually, just that maybe their plans have changed (eg., getting accepted in a different uni, deciding not to go to uni).

Hope that helps!
