If you think you could massively pull your grades up by retaking a levels then go ahead.
Also which course did you want to apply for? The uni you went to doesn’t really matter for some courses.

Some other options could also be to try looking into apprenticeship options? However if you are keen about doing a degree at a Russell group uni then I would advise you to resit.
(Also you could look into different foundation courses perhaps and see if you’re able to apply contextually)

retake all 3 a levels, but you should probably question ur exam technique or just simply the content your revising for next time. use this gap year wisely!
Hi,
Was in a similar situation to you this results day. Was predicted A*AA and somehow churned out BCD (getting b remarked). I was also stressed, overwhelmed and emotionally run to the ground.
My advice would be to spend this year retaking your a levels to a higher standard and get a decent mental health break too. Don’t stress yourself out too much but I think if you work well this year you’ll be in a much better place next year. PM me if you need anything : ).

Two choices really :
1) Resit your A levels and do some real work.
2) Do something else, and come back to education in a few years time when you are more motivated/interested.

Hi @M.M3

If your aiming to attend a RG, I highly recommend retaking your A-levels. However the course your taking really effects which university you can attend. Other universities offer many courses to the same or higher standard, it simply depends on the course 😊.

If you decide to retake your a levels, really re-evaluate what could of went wrong this year and improve upon it. You can also try request access to your papers and see where you may of went wrong.

I hope this helps, please feel free to ask me any questions,
