If i retook year 12 but didn’t do exams, does this affect my med school app?

Hey everyone, around February of year 12 I was in an accident and i wasn’t able to attend school for the rest of the year. I retook the year and I just started year 13 bur I didn’t realise that this would affect my application until now.
Do i have to disclose my retake if I didn’t do exams? I’m likely under extraneous circumstances so if it would, how do I tell the universities?

I think your teacher who writes a reference for you states the circumstances. But you retaking year 12 shouldn’t have any impact on your application because you have extenuating circumstances

Does it have to be from the school I left because I changed school after. Thanks for the help it means a lot

Your new school can write it, but you usually need evidence like a doctors note. And it’s ok, I had a similar situation
