EPQ and Oxbridge
Does not doing an EPQ disadvantage you for oxbridge in your application? If so, how much of a difference does it make and is there any way this can be counteracted?

nah it will not give you a disadvantage at all. whilst it can be a good way to demonstrate that you have researched a topic in depth, there are many ways to show this e.g. essay competitions, talks you've given, articles you've written etc.
