• The recommended number of IGCSE subjects for a student aiming to study medicine in UK.
• Specific subjects that are crucial or highly recommended for the Top medicine collage in the UK.

Hello!

I'm not planning to study Medicine, but I have completed the IGCSE's, so I can still give you some advice!

• The recommended number of IGCSE subjects for a student aiming to study medicine in UK.
Personally, I don't think the number of subjects matter since it's only IGCSE's, maybe just take around 7-8 subjects to not over-stress yourself.

• Specific subjects that are crucial or highly recommended for the Top medicine collage in the UK.
Biology, Chemistry and Physics are all very important subjects to study Medicine in top UK universities. By taking these subjects, you can demonstrate to universities that you have the knowledge and ability to study Medicine. Further, these subjects will also aid you in the UCAT. Additionally, I believe that Mathematics (although I know it is a required subject to take) is also a crucial subject if you are applying for Medicine, since a decent level of mathematical skills is needed; if it is available/you have the ability, you should try for Further/Additional Maths to stand out!
