too late to apply masters

Hello, I am planning to apply for my masters and wondering when does master courses start roughly in September? Do you think it's too late to apply?

For master's courses I think the bulk of deadlines now would have already passed; usually it depends on the course: some had deadlines in late july/early august, some had deadlines in late august. Seeing as we are now in september, I think it would be quite difficult to find a master's course to apply to as the majority of them have a mid to late september start. But I wouldn't be disheartened because this means you have plenty of time to look for and apply to master's courses in 2025. Rushing to choose an master's course is not something I'd recommend; master's are for you to be able to hone in on what you're really interested in, more so than what you can do at undergrad.

Like the other comment expressed, a lot of deadline will have closed now. I applied for my upcoming MSc during last October 😅 But this was after lots of preparation; writing a personal statement and researching various courses. To find the one for me. You should use the time to find out what you want out of a Masters, and reflect on what makes you an amazing candidate 😀

There could totally be some left open, but rushing a decision isn't worth it. Lots of student accommodation would be booked up, sorting student finance/your savings is needed, and of course it would be challenging to gain that understanding of what the course is. Ergo, writing your application would be even more difficult, and they might not accept you if you don't know what you're getting yourself in for..

For taught masters, the vast majority of courses will now be closed. As above, even if you could get an app in, you’d have to sort out accommodation and funding in less than 4wks.
