Jobs and volutering during A-level

Heyy, im gonna start my A-levels in a few days an im wondering about a few things
1) how can i apply for a part time job in which i can manage my academics, hobbies and also work at the same time (dont have a social life so thats not included) . I m well almost 17 now and ive got great gcses, a certificate from a programme at surrey uni, i voluntered at my aunts shop back in my home country when i was about 12-14 ish, ive also voluntered at school taken leadership roles, kinda know how ot speak french etc so yeah. any job is fine just need to earn cash and yk cv purposes
2) where can i volunteer or do i have to be 18 to do so? and do i need to like present anything or just go and ask coz i genuinly want to do something in my community and for others to, no this is not for any uni thing coz i may not even do that so im jusyt looking for ways to apply and do so. are marathons a good thing too ? coz if so are there age limits to that too
3) is it advisable to do all these things or no?
ik Alevels are much harder but im just curious if i should try and do these things
thx for your replys
Hi! for a job I would sign up for indeed, but also check facebook etc by searching hiring then your local area as the jobs on indeed tend to be very competitive and it can take a while to be selected without prior experience (and even with). You will be fine for Y12 with a part time job maybe just on the weekends or even after sixth form some days just leave time to stay on top of everything.
Try to volunteer based off what you are wanting to do in the future if you know yet, if not general roles that ca build communication skills will help. Try to contact local charity shops or food banks or even ask your sixth form as mine allowed me to volunteer within at their library.
Itis beneficial to do these things as you will grow as a person and become more confident as well as gaining freedom with money and helping the community but absolutely not a vital thing if you mean for uni applications etc. Hope this helps.
