Is Double AS and English Lit a good enough combo for unis in Leeds?

originally I wanted to do biology and chem AND eng lit but I didn't get the grades needed to do them so im doing double as instead. As for eng lit, I am very passionate about it and it was my favourite subject in high school so I really want to do it for a levels. i like writing stories too but i want to be realistic about my future bc idk if ill be guranteed a high paying job doing an eng lit degree. Anyways, I don't know if my a level choices look random since eng lit looks out of place with science, doesn't it?
I am hoping to study either biomedical, pharmaceutical or forensic science (this, I'm leaning towards) degrees at uni but I'm scared that I won't be able to pursue what I want. What do u guys think?

Nearly all universities require 3 A levels. It isnt clear if double is 1 or 2 A levels. If it classes as 1 you likely wont get in. If it classes as 2 you should be fine.

thank god I just checked my school's website and it counts as 2 a levels. so do u think my subject choices are suitable enough for me to study the possible courses I want for uni?
