Fashion undergrad advice needed!

I have high predicted grades (A*AA) and want to study fashion next year in some sort of business discipline (marketing, management, etc.)

I want to use these to my advantage so i'm thinking of applying to Fashion Marketing at University of Leeds (ABB), and University of Manchester (AAB) as they are Russell group but I cannot find much on these courses and am unsure if they are actually well connected to the industry or not.

I have been thinking lately about applying to London College of Fashion (UAL) for the same course but unsure whether this is actually possible as someone who is not extremely wealthy and lives a few hours away from London.

Should I spend the extra and go to London for the connections or use my grades and go Russel group? or should I consider any alternatives? Any help at all would be very appreciated! Thanks.

Hello @alevelwarriorxo

I have also just responded to another one of your threads business+french or fashion marketing? - The Student Room hope it helps.

Just saw this post and was wondering if you have considered Kingston?

The fashion department is very well known in the industry as the fashion design course is ranked 2nd in the UK. Plus you would still get to experience all that London has to offer but for slightly less of an expense as Kingston is just outside central London. Kingston also has lots of great connections and being based at Kingston School of Art means you meet people from all subject areas and make connections that way.

I would really recommend coming to an open day if you can to get a feel for what it would be like to study and live here. Our next open day is Saturday 19th October, and there will be more throughout the year if you keep your eye out on the website.

I hope this helps and if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask
