kcl medicine

hi, im a student who has been set on applying for ucl, kcl and imperial for over a year. i have worked extremely hard to earn 3 predicted A*s, 99999999998 in my gcses and placements at hospitals but due to some unfortunate circumstances, i scored 2770 B1 in my ucat. i have worked way too hard to let go of my goal and would love to apply to atleast kings, would it be worth it?

Why so set on these specific medical schools? Remember you'll get the same degree at the end no matter which medical school you go to. With medicine, it's best to apply based on where you're likely to get an interview, especially since you've worked so hard and so would be wise to maximise your chances of getting an offer! hi, thanks for your reply. im really set on this medical school since i live in london and i preferably need to be at home since my mother is unwell and i want to be with her, kcl is the closest in terms of distance for me. im not sure what to do since i haven’t planned on moving away for university🥲

If Medical school in London is what you want, there are more choices, it's not only ucl, kcl and imperial 3 school.
On top of my head, you also have Queen Mary and St George which you're more likely to get an interview, agree with what @bea_murray0 stated, it would be wise to maximise your chances of getting an offer, if Med school in "London", not the school name, is what you really want.

I agree completely with @unicornbabe246 ! Look into other medical schools in London, and remember commuting could be an option too. I'm at BSMS and some students in my year commute from south London to Brighton at least 3 times a week (I wouldn't recommend that sort of distance because they have ended up waking up about 4am to make it to exams!! But goes to show it's possible and people do it). A gap year may also be an option worth considering. Best of luck with it all!
