Changing to a completely different course at exeter…

I’m starting to have doubts about my future career path.
Initially I believed strongly that I wanted to pursue law, however I’m now wanting to do an English degree and then go into teaching…
How difficult is it to change courses?
Just wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation or has been.
Thanks

Have you started your Law course, or are you about to start?

If you're about to start, I suggest you contact Exeter's admissions team tomorrow and ask them if a change of course is possible. Don't wait till you get there.

There's no guarantee you'll be able to change course, even if you meet the entrance requirements; there may simply not be enough spaces on the English course. By asking before you get there you know what the position is. If they say no, then you need to make a decision as to how to proceed -- either continue with Law, or withdraw and reapply via Ucas for admission next year.

It's best not to start a course if you don't want to see it through.

Hi, I'm also going to Exeter this year, could you let me know how your change of course enquiry goes?
