commuting to london once a week

I know this actually sounds insane but i’ve got a place at Birmingham for university but I have a sport I do in london every sunday. Is it feasible to commute once a week to london from Birmingham?
It can be done but train tickets can be quite expensive so I suggest you check out the ticket prices and see if that's affordable for you. I also suggest you get a railcard too, if u don't already have one, bc it will save you a lot of money.

Hi

I think that it is possible to commute back to London on a Sunday as there are frequent trains that run to London Euston in as quick as 90 minutes on some trains.

I think that it would be best to complete some research into how much it would cost and whether you could get a railcard or a season ticket for that route in order to save money in the long run.

I hope this helps!

I travel between Birmingham and London pretty often and I'd say do-able, providing there are no train strikes and you don't need to be there very early in the morning (or if you can stay overnight on the Saturday). It costs about £30 with a 16-25 railcard from Birmingham New Street to Euston if you book a week in advance, and the trains are regular. It's cheaper to get a London Northwestern train over Avanti West Coast. You can also do Birmingham Moor Street to Marylebone, which is quieter but more expensive.
