is wjec criminology diploma accepted for solicitor apprenticeships?

I'm about to go into year 12 and am planning to do politics, sociology and criminology. I want to do a solicitor degree apprenticeship after sixth form and pretty much all of the law firms I have looked at have said they accept a level 'equivalents' in their entry requirements, however I have read that the criminology diploma isn't actually highly respected by universities and other institutions. So overall what I'm asking is if I would likely get accepted to a solicitor degree apprenticeship with this qualification?
It would be up to them. It's not an A-level so they aren't obligated to accept it as equivalent, because they may deem it's not equivalent. I suspect by A-level equivalents they mean conventionally accepted things like IB.

I would strongly suggest you swap it for an actual A-level, or take an additional A-level so you're just doing the criminology certificate as an add-on.
