it sounds like u both live in pretty remote areas then, the only reading i know is the reading in pennsylvania. i wouldn’t be surprised if it were named after someplace in the uk tbh lol

i wouldn't say remote for me, just suburban and pretty boring. and full of old people

its pronounced REDing like the colour. its all boys uptil year 9 aswell. supposed to be a selective school

i’m shocked how many schools in britain seem to be girls or boys only, here all public schools are mixed gender so only some of the older private schools are unigender and it’s normally more like the preppy upper class kids who go there haha

my town is onlly relevant once a year because its where the RoyalMilitaryAcademy is at, so the king visits once a year. for some reason the mayor is rlly proud of this and reminds us every singe time the ocuncil letters get posted.

oh yeah we would often switch teachers multiple times even within semesters, at least in high school we had eight courses every year so it was pretty much bound to be a different teacher for each one

no, so over here you just go to your local high school, it’s automatically assigned. except in my region there were a few schools with special programs, so there’s an entrance exam for those because they’re somewhat selective. i took a few and eventually ended up attending one, so we moved before i entered grade 9 so we could be closer to my new high school.

btw middle school for me was from age 10-13 and high school 13-17.
