I’m trying to figure out what other work experience I can do:
Besides mini pupillage
Debating, mooting, marshalling, public speaking
Pro bono(FRU, advocate)
Any other social mobility initiatives

What else can I do?

Should I start a website about the bar?

Do I need to enter essay competitions as I don’t have the time at the moment)

What else can I do? And can you also suggest names of where I can do them. E.g marshalling with the middle temple or advocacy at place x

Not sure what sort of legal practice you’re interested in. So some of the following might not be what you’re looking for.

A position of responsibility eg a committee position for a charity or something similar.

Volunteer work for a charity such as a women’s refuge or DV centre. Something not directly related to law but related to dealing with vulnerable people.

Writing an article for something like The Student Lawyer or Legal Cheek. If you don’t have time for essays you may not have time for this.
