I'm worried that even if I get an A* in A-level physics I won't be able to do anything with it because I don't have maths, is this true?
When you say "anything with it", do you mean a Physics-related degree? If so, then your concern is well founded. I think you'll struggle to find any Physics degree with doesn't mandate A level Maths. (Some don't actually mandate A level Physics, oddly.)
What are your other two A levels. Could they lead you to non-Physics degrees?

im taking A-level physics, statistics and biology and i want to take some sort of physics or engineering degree
I think you're really going to struggle accessing a Physics or Engineering degree without A level Maths. Were you very far from the grade requirement to be able to take it? Was that because Maths isn't really your thing? Or for some other reason?
I was 8 marks off the grade, maths is usually my thing and I got the grades in my mocks I think I just got anxious on the day and fumbled, I was looking at Manchester university and they offer a foundation year and after completion I can take a physics degree I just need an A in biology And Bs in physics and statistics

Understood. I'm pleased you've identified a route into a Physics degree, despite the lack of Maths A level.
You've got some time, but it would be worth identifying other options too, in case the Manchester one doesn't pan out for some reason (i.e. don't put all your eggs in that particular basket).
