what ipad for uni! 12.9 inch or 11 inch?
Hey all! So i'm going to University this September and i've wanted an Ipad for the past 4-5 years, however never felt like i could justify it. I already have a macbook pro m1 2020, and it's great especially because my course has coding and programming involved. The current ipads i'm looking at are from backmarket, and it's between the 2021 m1 12.9 inch ipad pro or 2022 11 inch ipad pro. I really want to write notes, watch lectures and hopefully use the split screen function. Which iPad do you recommend? and do you have anything else important to consider?

This was a very iterative generational change, the highlights being the move from M1 processor to M2, faster WiFi, and some extra Apple Pencil functionality. Personally from what you've described, I think the larger display of the 13" model will offer a more meaningful improvement to your usage than the more powerful processor will- the M1 is still a ludicrously overpowered chip for what iPad OS is actually capable of doing.
