i reckon cos there were some ig info from 2023, which the team didn't notice last year, but maybe that's it....the admins seem to be anonymous this year....anyway all ig info removed so hopefully they will help share this useful resource.

The Official London School of Economics and Political Science 2025 Applicant Thread
Hi :hi:
This is the thread for people who are thinking of applying to LSE for 2025!
Meet and chat to other people applying here.
Here are a few suggested opening questions, but ask whatever you want regarding LSE.
1) What A Levels are you doing (or other eligible qualifications)?
2) What course at LSE do you have your eyes on? And why?
3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?
4) Why LSE specifically?
5) Which admissions tests do you have to sit if any, and when will you start preparing for them?
6) Will you be attending any Open Days?
7) How are you feeling about starting University?
8) Other unis you're interested in?
You can find a directory linking to all of the other university applicant threads here.
Website: https://www.lse.ac.uk/
General TSR rules (read before posting in this thread):
(1) Please don't ask for or post group chat links along with any social media contact details both in this thread and via PM. Such posts will simply be reported and removed as standard.
(2) Please don't ask for or post interview questions.
(3) Please don't offer to buy and sell items.

Hi! My username is basically university manifestation. I’m currently in year 13 and also applying this year!!
1) My A-Levels are: English Literature, History, Mathematics and an EPQ. I also did AS Biology but dropped it this year.

2) I’m applyling for International Relations. I find IR the perfect blend of my political, humanitarian and legal interests and can’t wait to have a role in a world peace organization one day (or even start my own haha, I’m just dreaming though). I also find political journalism extremely fascinating and something I want to do in the future.

3) At IGCSE, I got A*A*AAAAAA, which is not really LSE standard unfortunately.. and am predicted A*A*AA for A-levels. However, I’m aiming on getting my coursework and test grades up so I can get another predicted A*. And for some reason, despite getting an A on my History AS, my teacher REFUSES to predict me an A*.

4) LSE’s political science specialization makes it a perfect place for something like International Relations. It’s also has diversity which is important for me as multiple countries make up my background. I also like LSE’s blend of academic rigor as well independent initiative.

5) None for IR, however fun fact: I was going to apply for Law and literally changed decision on the 1st of October. That was a week before my LNAT. However, Law was something my parents wanted me to do rather than what I was aiming for. I’m so relieved I changed - best decision ever. I feel so motivated now!

6) I won’t be attending Open Days because I live abroad : (

7) I’m really excited! It will finally allow me to explore my passion into something more valuable and tangible. The workload scares me a bit, but I know I can do it with the right mindset.

8 ) I will also be applying to UCL, KCL, SOAS and Edinburgh!

Hello, good afternoon
Nothing is being ignored - volunteers just set up the form this year. :yy:
Last year LSE got missed off our list, this was due to a communication error on my part - nothing more.
Have a lovely evening :hat2:

It's just a basic admin question so that they can use your LNAT results as part of the process.

Relax
