Missing Durham university IT username and password

HIII this is kind of urgent I'm slightly panicked :,) I have been accepted into Durham university and confirmed my offer about 2 weeks ago, as an international student I have received my CAS information however, I have not yet received my university it username and password, meaning I have not been able to enrol into my course (philosophy and politics). I emailed IT but they haven't come back to me yet and tried calling them and admissions but none of the numbers I have found so far seem to be active. I received an email saying I would be getting my username and password but haven't yet, and I rly don't know what to do atp. Thank u!!

This also means I have not received confirmation from my college and don't have confirmed accommodation so literally, panic mode on.

I used [email protected], but I'm not sure it's working. anyway I'm sorry ik its super stressful but I'm also rly glad I'm not the only one going through this :smile:

I'm so sorry to hear this, unfortunately there have been a few delays in sending out the usernames and passwords but please don't panic, you will receive them (make sure to check your junk and spam folder) and will be able to enroll and register your modules in due time but the system and team is processing numerous login details so there have been some delays 🙂
What was your preliminary college and did you fill out the accommodation preference form before the deadline?

Not my post but in the same situation - preliminarily St Johns and I did do the form in time. I was an insurance offer holder though so suspect I’ve been reallocated. I got an email saying I’d get login details within 5 working days, that was the 22nd and still waiting now.
I am in the same situation as well - I have not received any long details yet. I did the form before the deadline and I was preliminarily St Mary's.

Also do you know if the modules are first come first serve, and if so, is there any way to let whoever places the students into the modules ultimately, know that I have not been able to fill in the preferences? :,) I'm sorry I just really don't want to be penalised for this, not sure what I can actually do to improve the situation... thank you so much again

Thank you so much I was honestly terrified. My preliminary college allocation was Castle and yes I did fill it out in time! does that change anything?
Hiya,

If IT has responded and stated that your login details will be sent, then rest assured, they will be but it may be delayed due to some system issues. If you still have not received anything and have not reached out to IT, then you can email them about your login details but they are still being sent out to students, albeit rather delayed so don't panic if you still haven't received it 🙂

In regards to college accommodation and allocation, as stated on the website, applicants are subject to reallocation for various reasons and one of them being is whether Durham was your insurance choice so it may be that the team is still reallocating applicants and finding available spots in colleges which is why you still have not received a confirmation about your college or accommodation but again, it is up to the allocation and accommodation team and they are processing a lot of applicants so responses have been a bit delayed. Still, if there are any changes or reallocations or confirmations made, the team will reach out to you regarding that matter and in the meantime, all I can really say is to wait for them to contact you 🙂

To my knowledge, modules are not first come first serve but some modules may clash with other modules which is why you won't be able to register for them so when you receive your login details and register for your modules, you need to check that your modules don't clash.
