Cardiff university with grades

Hi, what's the likelihood of me being accepted for courses such as Economics, poliitics and accounting and finance with grades CCD. I've already spoke to the uni and they said there was no availability for any of their courses with my grades as of now and to call back next week. What's the likelihood of me being accepted or am I wasting my time due to my grades. I do want to attend the uni but not sure if all of this is worth it if the schools won't lower the entry requirements.
