How many subjects do you suggest to study at home in a day?

I'm so excited that after 22 years I'm going to finally do my GCSEs! Unfortunately due to personal reasons in school I never sat mine, even though I was predicted high grades. Anyway I went onto to do an Access course which included Key Skills in English & Maths, then onto university. I'm now changing careers which require GCSEs in English and Maths in order to progress, unfortunately Key Skills are now obsolete and no longer accepted.
So tomorrow I'll be starting my very first class of GCSE English, also GCSE Biology & Maths another two evenings a week, all at my local college for 3 hours of each subject. I want to create a study timetable, how many subjects do you suggest to study/revise for each day? All three or just two?

that's wonderful! i'm homeschooled, and RN i am doing 3/4 subjects in a day. i think 3 subjects a day is manageable, like do an hour of each a day and take break days also

Great! So one hour per subject a day is enough then? In the college course handbook it does say we only need to study 3 hours a week extra so I think one hour five days week should be sufficient. Thanks

for gcses, 5 hours a week a subject is certainly good enough- and if 3 hrs is recommended, then that's even better. make sure not to burn yourself out, and to take plenty of breaks and go on walks etc etc xx
