2025 Westminster 16+

Hi, this November Im applying for Westminster with: maths, further maths, physics and Greek. Does anyone know the difficulty for the Greek exam? I’ve heard that they often go further than the gcse syllabus in their entrance exams. And for further maths, im not the best at maths but have remained at a consistent ukmt kangaroo level, are the kangaroo questions similar to harder questions on the further maths exam or should i look to the Hamilton Olympiad paper questions? Thanks

Hi, I got into Westminster as a girl in 2024. I took math, fm physics and chemistry. The maths paper was not terribly difficult but was quite time pressured, and the further math paper was also a fairly standard grade 9 paper. As long as you look at some kangaroo questions u should be fine, and maybe take time to do some of the last questions on each gcse paper.

By "Further Maths" do you mean the Further Maths GCSE itself with matrix and differentiation and stuff, or just the normal Maths GCSE,

Hey I did the exam for Westminster back in 2022. Since I was a boy I was fortunate enough to get an offer. In my opinion there are barely any ukmt style questions on there but just practice simplifying algebra like quadratics and you’ll be fine.

If it's possible, you said you got into Westminster for further maths and I was wondering if you remembered what any of the questions were like or had a good comparison of the difficulty level. Any help would be great, thank you so much.

the questions started off (for the first 3) being around gcse maths - the questions at the back. It then got slightly harder, and the last few were not quite Hamilton olympiad but definitely around the IMC questions around 22-25.

How many questions was the further maths paper? How many questions would you need to get right for a decent chance of getting in?

Where can I find gcse grade 9 papers? (I’m an international student so I have no idea how hard gcse grade 9 is
