Hey! I'm max and I'm going into a level this year. My hope is to get all As in my subjects, especially further maths and keep playing hockey 4 times a week to get in the development pathway to play for my country <3
I am going to balance all of this by having a fixed schedule and trying to stay off my phone this year

my top 3 academic goals this year are:
- improve in GCSE spanish and get at least a grade 7 ( next august),
- finish all of my y10 revision resources in dec + always attempting to be consolidating insecure gcse content / knowledge
- doing more past papers, so i can get more used to exam style questions !!
then a hobby i want to continue is learning new hairstyles as i enjoy it a lot and starting a hair business in the next few years.
then to balance my social life/ academics/selfcare i would set goals for myself - if i do 10+ hours of studying a week (tracked with flora) ill buy myself something i like or go out with my friends, also my selfcare has always been a priority alongside academics so that shouldnt be an issue for me this year ( i hope 😭)

Heyy I'm not rly sure what the spoiler is meant for, but im aiming to string a good balance/routine (which i absolutely didnt have in y10), relive my hobbies (calligraphy, coding, swimming, which i stopped during covid). My main goals are time management, all 8s/9s in gcses (lots of exam practice!) and building up my personal statement <333

Hello! my top 3 goals for GCSEs this year are:

1.) getting better grades in the November mocks, as I didn't do that great in the Y10 ones. Definitely would like to improve science and maths.

2.) I'd like to continue reading my books and draw every now and then.

3.) going to take breaks often and get enough sleep.
Ciao, I'm Tricia and my goals are...
1) to stay on top of A levels once I start them (as I'm going into Yr 12) and not get burnt out
2) at the end of year 12 get predicted at least 4As
3) improve my time management skills (not good enough:dontknow:)

One new habit is to prioritise important things > being on my phone etc

To take care of myself I will prioritise certain days or timings to relax and try get all school work done on the weekdays so on the weekends I can relax

Hi! I’m starting year 11 tomorrow omgg ok so…

1. My main academic goals rn are to get rid of the 7s in my predicted grades - currently predicted 7s in lang and media studies, my other 10 are predicted 8s or 9s. I also wanna improve my study skills since I don’t really know how to revise effectively haha I’ve been revising the night before exams for 4 years but i guess that won’t work this year. Anddd I wanna make all my revision resources ideally before the end of november so i have time to revise for mocks.

2. I wanna join a dance group/club! I’m really into kpop and the choreographies are so fun but i don’t have much space at home to learn them. But I saw a kpop dance group might do classes in my city by the end of the year so that will be fun!!

3. I’ve been trying to improve my night routine so I can be less stressed when I try to sleep haha. Hopefully I can hold it up during exam season so that I have some time to relax. I’ve been reading before bed too which has been nice

those are my goals for this year hehe

top 3 goals:
keep up my record of all A's
get elected as a student leader for my national junior honors society again
update my gyg weekly
new hobby:
i started learning latin through duolingo
how i'm planning to balance everything:
i created pacing guides for all my subjects and a set schedule
1. What are your top 3 academic goals for this school year?
To better my Y10 mock results in my actual GCSE’s - five 9’s, four 8’s and three 7’s

2. What’s one new habit or hobby you want to continue or start this year?
I will continue with doing homework as soon as I get it and writing up all my notes as I go. Adding in revision of previous topics and past paper practice on a sliding scale as we get closer to mocks and then to the real thing!
I also want to learn to crochet to give me another activity to enable me to properly switch off.

3. How are you planning to balance self-care, fun, and academic achievement?
I have a pretty strict schedule as I find it helps me to fit everything in (academics/sports/friends) and takes the stress out of knowing what should be doing as well as scheduling in free/rot time. I do it in blocks so if I need to swap things I can but it makes sure the same amount of time is spent doing the important stuff rather than just missed out.
Lists. I. Love. Lists! Ticking stuff off for that dopamine 🤣
