Keele accomodation

I’m gonna study at Keele this September and haven’t found my accommodations. I’m thinking between a classic studio at Q studios in Stoke-on-Trent or 2 bedroom apartment at Orme House or Hassells Bridges. I dont know what should I choose as I never been there before. Does anyone have any advice?

Hi, i want an en-suite room but on campus it is too pricey and the condition seems not very good, most people recommend off campus so it is what im looking for. I want a place near uni for an easy commute ofc but now is too late to get a place that meets the conditions. Even though Orme House and Hassells Bridges do not offer an en-suite/ studio, they are both close to the campus whereas Q Studios bit further away but it is a studio which is much convenient. I hesitate not only because it is quite far from the uni but also because I read quite a few mixed reviews about the property itself and the location (stoke on trent).

Also I have never come to Keele uni before so I don’t have any idea about the area 😭

I would honestly go for orme house or hassells bridge as many of the students go there its good for socialising, very good distance from the town centre and campus as well. Q studios is a risk cause you could either have a good experience or a completely bad one. if you have any more questions about them or keele in general feel free to ask.

Yeah that might not be ideal, try Orme house or contact hassels bridges to see if they have an all female apartment if that is what you prefer

Hi,
The bedrooms in the 2bed apt in Orme house are tiny, and just generally it is quite a small apartment from what I’ve see so I wouldn’t recommend.

I’ve read the other comments on here and I would say that if you want an all girls apartment and don’t mind sharing a bathroom then tbh the best option would probably be on campus in a flat of 4. I think it’s like 6k for the year so it’s cheaper than any studio and you save on travel costs too
