Cardiff Uni moving in booking system

Hi all, we’ve been asked to book a time slot to move in to our accommodation free on tomorrow but can’t see a booking tool to do it - anyone have any idea where it is?

im guessing it opens at 9am since thats when their phone lines and stuff open

on sims you can look at your residences application and then click view i think and you should be able to find it! there is quite a long queue to get onto the correct site at the moment but its super easy once u get on. if ur driving you do need the vehicle reg just a heads up

found it - scroll down the page on SIMS and its there for you all. currently 734th in the queue

apparently it’s paused because the entire residences page is crashed so they’re trying to fix it

I've been stuck on the same number since 10:20 with the queue showing as paused, looks like it's still not fixed maybe?

Yea there's a message update from 11.47 saying: "The arrival booking service has been suspended temporarily due to a fault. We are working hard to apply a fix as soon as possible. We will email you as soon as the service is available again. We are very sorry any inconvenience."

keep waiting, the little error message at the bottom of the screen says they'll mail out once resolved

New message too at 9.47 stating not to continue to wait in the queue…
Now open again for bookings if anyone wasn't aware! Estimates that it will take over an hour in the queue but it's moving quite quickly tbf
