Access course queries!

I am currently on an access HE diploma course: health professionals, and my entry requirements are "pass with 60 credits. At least 45 credits at level 3 with 30 credits at Merit or Distinction"
I was wondering if somebody could please give me a broken down explanation on how to obtain these credits. Thank you!

A lot of what's written there is irrelevant really. An access to HE Diploma always consists of 60 credits, or which 15 are ungraded. The remaining 15 are always at Level 3.

So all they're really saying is: "Of the 45 graded credits (which are graded at pass, merit of distinction), we need at least 30 of them to be at merit or distinction. We don't care about the other 15 credits - a simple pass in them is fine.

You would need to check with your course provider for how they assess your work, and determine whether or not it's worthy of a merit or a distinction.

@Lolly003
Hi, there is some great advice in the other post already.

I have taught on Access for over 10 years and this is more than doable. Most assignments are worth 3 credits, although more 6 credit units have started to sneak in in the previous year, especially in science
