Plug in fairy lights in Loughborough accomodation

Hey i start at Loughborough in a few weeks and am staying in Towers... i was just wondering if anyone knows if i can take plug in fairy lights? I cant see anything anywhere saying i cant and have looked on the list of stuff i shouldnt bring if it was on there. If someone could let me know that would be great so i know if i can buy them.
