Review GCSE 2024

Just wondering if anyone has had results of review yet and were you successful? If you were how many marks were you off originally?

Hello, I got remarks for Chemistry and Physics, I was 1 mark off the grade boundary for both, and ended up with 4 marks less in both. Although, I know someone who got a remark in English Language and their marks increased by 20, and they went up by 2 grades as well.

I know someone who just got their GCSE AQA English Lit back today. They were 1 mark off the next grade boundary, on review went up 11 marks in just one paper (paper 1) so went up a grade. So they’re now at the top of the next grade boundary and wondering about getting paper 2 reviewed too. I can’t understand how examiners can miss 11 marks in one paper! It’s crazy and makes you wonder about the marking quality.
