sussex to train station

this is very niche question but what’s the pedestrian underpass like? Because i’m aware that students from uni of sussex need to walk across one to get to the station but it just sound scary. I wanted to know if anyone else found it okay like in terms of people, I just picture dangerous people hanging around in there especially late at night. Is there security and lights etc?

Hey, I lived in uni of sussex halls last year and tbh it was fine! The underpass is very short, it has CCTV and is lit at night, no one really hangs around there (apart from Jehovah's witnesses in the day sometimes lol). I've always felt safe on campus, they have help stations dotted around (where you just press a button to call security) and you can save the security number into your phone just in case. Hope this helps!

The underpass is about 30 seconds of walking - its lit and has CCTV. never had an issue there- nothing to worry about!
