What are the psychological aggression that you face a lot as ethnic minority?

These are the jibes that I hear every week, which have caused me a great deal of hard feelings:

“Where are you REALLY from [after you tell them the town/county you live in]?”

“You don’t look like White. Are you really British? How many years have you been here actually?”

“Your English is brilliant! Where are you REALLY from?”

“XXX has a British passport, BUT he/she comes from...”

“Nationality is not the same as ethnicity. Just because you are a British citizen, it doesn’t make you automatically British!”

The fact that their undereducation is causing great harm to non-White British folks as those racist stereotypes are institutionalised, which socialise professionals into excluding or mistreating non-White British folks and causing them hardship, especially in terms of housing and employment, which is deeply unfair and pernicious. It’s hard to simply laugh it off as undereducation when they aren’t the ones to suffer the consequences and be forced to live like subhumans.

Unfortunately, the fact is that*

I’m a non white British person but I live in a very ethnically diverse area so I don’t experience these micro-aggressions very often so my reply won’t be very helpful, I just wanted to say your vocabulary and literary fluency is outstanding, I really like how you get your point across through your writing in a clear and concise manner.

Haha I hope that is true. My English isn’t as good as native speakers for sure.

even with religion, when I mention im a muslim they make that one joke (if yk, yk)

It's alright. Many people get these jibes every day. I have just learned to ignore them. After being racially abused for being a pakistani before, you just gotta learn to ignore what everyone says, no matter how hard it is
I may be brown on the outside, but i am as yorkshire you can get, I may be muslim, but i will still watch football every week and play pool or cricket or anything
"If you'd rather live in a muslim country, why not go and move?"

Mate, I was born and bred in Yorkshire. Everyone I know and have known is in yorkshire. I am wanting to get a job in yorkshire. Money stops me moving. Family stops me moving. Friends stop me moving. The fear of the unknown stops me moving. Comfort stops me moving. Yet these same ppl will come out in flocks, with a pint in each hand, and protest to kick us out. ffs, these edl supporters rely on immigrants to look after themselves. Tommy Robisnson can even sort out his own taxes without the help of brown ppl https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/tommy-robinson-accidentally-posts-himself-33400420
