Hello, I was just wondering about something, on my timetable it says how I've got a drop in session after a lecture, but it starts at the same time my lecture finishes in an alternative building. Are drop in sessions a mandatory thing needed to attend or are they there if you're in need of help in that subject/course? Thank you

Hi there!

Drop in sessions aren't mandatory however they can be great for further support. Hope this clears it up 🙂

Feel free to message if you have any more questions!

Hi @mollymaet 👋

Brilliant to hear that you've applied for our BA (Hons) Music Theatre course. Although I haven't studied on this course myself, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the course or student life here.

All the best 😊

NIGHTMARE ORDEAL TO GET DEPOSIT REFUND FROM UCLAN!!!!
It is a psychological and emotionally draining experience which is still on-going with UCLAN for refund of my tuition deposit.
I thought I was making a headway when I got an email from UCLAN early this year stating that my tuition deposit had been refunded. This was after over a year of back and forth emails with UCLAN to return the deposit.
As a result of the email, I alerted my bank through which payment was made on the refund. I kept following up with my bank…nothing. It wasn’t until I asked UCLAN for a swift copy of the refund that they said the money was returned by their bank requesting for more details. This is the back and forth (over 4 times) we had with UCLAN despite the fact that all the information requested was supplied.
The University has been very insincere on its intention to refund. This was also very clear when I made repeated phone calls to the school.
I feel like I am going through a scamming experience for refund of tuition deposit which the school has held on to for over 2 years now. It is such an emotionally and psychologically draining treatment from the school….

I applied for Mres Management program and received an offer for September intake. However I got it deferred to January 2025 intake. It's been over a month and I still haven't received an offer letter. I have been calling and emailing the university regularly but no progress is being made.

Hi @mollymaet, my daughter recently applied for BA Acting for 2025 and has just received an offer. Have you heard back yet for music theatre? 🤞 Good luck with all your applications.
