This is the thread for people who are thinking of applying to Leeds Conservatoire for 2025 or deferred 2026 entry.

1) What A Levels are you doing (or other eligible qualifications)?
2) What course do you have your eyes on? And why?
3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?
4) Why Leeds Conservatoire specifically?
5) How and when will you start preparing for auditions?
6) Will you be attending any Open Days?
7) How are you feeling about starting University?

Hello hello.
I have a place on the MA Musical Theatre Company for Sept 2025, deferred from 2024.
I'm older so left school when the dinosaurs were still alive.
The course is still fairly fresh, I think this year's cohort is their third (?) and to be honest I don't feel like I truly understand the course content. I live internationally so visiting in person isn't really possible.
Still, incredibly grateful to have a place :smile:

I haven't yet... I have to by the 20th though so will do soon!! hopefully this weekend 🤭🤭 I've only sent my tapes to LIPA so far aha

ahhh I see!! I've sent my tapes off to everywhere now except central and guildhall, I got a rejection from lipa lmaoooo

AAAAA scary! ngl I have ... low hopes for lipa considering my monologue wasn't even by a character my age (yeah. I've not had loads of success with that part of my audition prep lol)

Brilliant news! Well done. My daughter has got a recall for Acting course on 11 Jan! This will be her first in person audition so is rather nervous.

hey guys, is anyone else applying for mt and actor musician?? I'm going for my mt recall on the 11th but they offered me to audition for actor muso too as they saw I play the flute on my applications!!
