I have done a random google search for degrees in business analytics:
https://www.exeter.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/business/businessanalytics/#entry-requirements
https://www.southampton.ac.uk/courses/business-analytics-degree-bsc#entry (needs to be in business)
https://www.aston.ac.uk/study/courses/business-analytics-bsc
https://www.bristol.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/2025/business-and-management/bsc-business-analytics/#entry-requirements (need A Level Maths on top)
https://www.lancaster.ac.uk/study/undergraduate/courses/business-analytics-bsc-hons-n2n1/2025/#course-entry
https://www.edgehill.ac.uk/course/business-analytics/

From the above, only one says your BTEC needs to be in business. The others don't say your BTEC needs to be in business. One uni (not the same one) asks you for A Level Maths on top.

So yes, you can do business analytics with a BTEC in computing. If you want to be open to all business analytics degrees, then do business instead (I don't know how badly you want to go to Southampton though). If you want to be able to apply to any uni for business analytics, I recommend doing A Level Maths on top.

Do note, none of the above include any results for joint degrees in business analytics (usually with business or data science as a joint subject). I would leave you to do this yourself.

Do also note, you don't need a degree to go into business analytics as a career.

I’m pretty sure you can do a business analytics degree with computing but it just depends on what the entry requirements are for uni. I’m starting business analytics in October at lancaster and they didn’t have any required subjects so you should be fine.
