Would I likely still receive a conditional offer?

Hey I recently got my As results and unfortunately, a huge shock to me I received a U in chemistry. This is not a reflection of me and was doing well in tests and all past papers, so I am wondering as I am resitting the exams, with strong predicted grades, would I still receive a conditional offer to study a BSc chemistry degree?

Unless that Uni says it will not consider resits, and the combination of your existing grades and the Chem resit meets the entry requirements, then that's fine.

However, a U grade? What went so badly wrong?

I think I just broke in the exam. Spending too long on questions and then rushing to make up for time.
