low gcses medicine

im worried i wont be able to get into unis as they want high gcse grades for medicine.

I got

bio (F), eng lang and lit - 5
chem n physics - 7
maths n spanish - 8
geo, comp sci - 6

also would any1 have general advice on what to do in year 12 in terms of boosting my application. any books recommendations maybe?

any help would be greatly appreciated thank you.
