Will I not pass paramedic science application if I have points on my driving license

Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the process of applying for paramedic science for Ulster University (Londonderry).
I'm studying an access to university course through my local college to allow me to fulfill the entry requirements. However, I'm concerned that due to points on my license (6, driving without due care and attention) I won't be considered for the course.
For a bit of back story, I received these points in December 2020, so they are about to come off my license anyway.
Obviously since then, I have learnt my lesson and drive saver!
Does anyone have any advice?

If you delayed your application until January, will the points have been removed from your licence? The UCAS equal consideration deadline is 29 January 2025.

At https://www.ulster.ac.uk/courses/202526/paramedic-science-36007#entryconditions it says:

"It is not necessary to hold a driving licence to complete this course. However, the holding of a driving licence and clean record of driving may be an advantage in obtaining some types of employment in the future."

Some other universities (for example, Portsmouth, Swansea) require that you have a licence with no more than 3 points on it.
