Hi, I was just wondering if anyone who has previously completed the HPQ project could help me to decide what I should use for my title. I would really like to focus on cancer as a topic, (specifically lung cancer) as my grandma suffered from it a while ago. I was thinking of something along the lines of "is it easier for women over 60 to get cancer?". I was just wondering if thi sis a good starter title and how to develop it.

Hey, I did an HPQ and an EPQ, my supervisor said it's best not to use yes/no questions because they tend to be a bit too simple. Maybe a question like ,'to what extent is age a risk factor for getting cancer?' might be better? Also bear in mind that 'cancer' is very broad, so (especially since you only have like 2000 words) you might want to narrow it down to a specific type of cancer, since the risk factors, treatment options and prognosis for lung cancer are very different to those for skin cancer for example. Sounds like a good start though, and the examiners like to see your process of coming to your final title and project so make sure to record your thought process in deciding on a title! Best of luck with it.

Thanks for the advice, I have decided to go down the route of engineering in sports, as I couldn't decide on a title or subject. I am using a website called Project Q to track my progress and method throughout. I would like to pursue a career in engineering so I feel like this is the right road to take.
