Missed college induction day because I misread the timetable 💀

I am quite stressed right now. I dropped out of sixth form a few months ago due to bad mental health issues. Now that I'm better mentally, I was supposed to attend my college induction days (Wednesday and Thursday). I somehow managed to misread the timetable, so I thought my induction was Thursday and Friday. I get up from a lovley nap thinking "I wonder what I'm going to wear on Thursday" and I see I have a miss call from the college. I call them back and they say that my induction day is today and they don't know where I am. I start to feel panic. At first, I thought perhaps they had got me mixed up with another course, but when I look at the timetable again, it's suddenly Wednesday and Thursday. I'm worried because I feel like I've definitely made a bad impression. I don't even have an emergency I just read the timetable wrong. They said to just come in tomorrow because today finishes quite early (2:15). Am I stressing too much? Will they think I'm a lackluster student? I don't have the kit I need for tomorrow either (it didn't arrive yet).

Doesn't matter. It's done, turn up tomorrow and be sharp, you will need to organise 2 days work into one day.

Thanks. I'm more worried that I have made a bad first impression though. I'm not a lackluster student but they make think I am after this.

Maybe you have done, but all you can do is work hard to set the proper impression from now onwards.
