How do I accept a clearing offer?

I'm so sorry because this is such a silly question, but! I called up a university for clearing and they've said they'll offer me a place, however I only have until the end of the day to accept it due to how close it is to the start of the course. However, I can't find where I accept offers? On my UCAS application it says that there have been no recent updates to my application. Am I looking in the wrong place or is there an issue? I'm sorry there's probably a really obvious solution here, I'm just super clueless and don't have much time to accept this offer!

I've come across this situation multiple times, and it is quite common. Best thing to do would be to call the University clearing helpline, and let them know of the situation. They can do what they can from their side, and alternatively, UCAS, if they are unable to help (which I highly doubt). Hope that helps 🙂

You have to apply to that Uni for that course through Clearing - they will then formalise their acceptance via UCAS.
