Hi! I’m Sarah and I study a Master’s in Quantity Surveying at BCU, which is a postgraduate conversion course.

Quantity surveying is the management of a project to ensure it is delivered on time and to the required cost and quality. Quantity Surveyors work across various sectors including: offshore, healthcare, tech, manufacturing, banking, energy, retail, construction, and real estate in the public, private and third sector.

Did you know you don’t need to have studied Quantity Surveying (QS) before to apply for a Master’s in QS? Please ask me any questions you have about the subject!”

I've thought of some of the questions people have asked me at an open day, hopefully, they're helpful to you too!

Q1: I studied my undergraduate degree in a different subject and want to have a change of direction by studying the MSc QS course. Will I be accepted on to the course?

Ans: The MSc in QS is a conversion course, thus it’s an option for everyone, whether or not you have experience in construction.
