I’m doing BTEC level 3 applied science in college and i want to apply for an accounting and finance course however i need a DDD AND an A level in maths. I’ll do a foundation year if needed however i’m really trying to avoid it. Will they let me off with it or would i need get an a level in maths? (btw my maths gsce grade is a 5)
id really appreciate some help im stressing so bad i don’t know what i’ll do
Are you asking whether you’ll need AL Maths for the main course or the FY?

For the main course, yes, you won’t be considered without it.

For the FY it depends what the written entry requirements are. Can you link to them?

For the main course. It’s for the University of Bristol and they require DDD and a level maths. I know i could a foundation year at another university of bristol my heart is set on this. I thought since i’m doing a science course that’s exam based I might have a chance. So there’s no possible way?

To be blunt, no, none. If they accepted a science-based BTEC by itself they would state that.
