Help with decision for AS maths as fourth subject

I am taking 3 A levels subjects : biology, psychology and business m. Want to pursue a degree in psychology or. Business management. Would taking AS maths as fourth subject will have any sizeable benefit in university applications for business management ( not finance or quants) in US and UK?
Please help
As someone who did AS Maths alongside three other AS subjects (Psych, Econ and Photography), I would say that it’s possible. However, just a heads up that Maths was the most intense of my subjects and took the most time. We have pretty similar subjects, both psych and maths, you on business and me on econ, but my fourth was photography, which was coursework based and, for me, a lot less stressful. Your fourth will be biology, which I hear is quite a lot to deal with!
In terms of applications, I’d just check with the unis you’re looking to apply to. Those that don’t specify they want A Level Maths will probably be fine with no AS Maths either. If your GCSE grade is 7-9, then I’d say that shows that you’re competent enough.
If you’re looking into doing another AS for UCAS points, an A will get you 20 UCAS points, so make of that what you will.
Good luck 👍

I want to do an additional a level. I’ve already got 2. And I’m worried if I should do AS or an a level itself. I’ve only got this year to cover all content. And to sit the exam in June. Any help would be appreciated. I’m looking to do biomed or psych at uni.!
Hi there! I’m not looking into biomed or psych myself, but can give some general advice?
It all depends on how busy you are this year, have you already achieved those other A Levels or are you still studying for them? If you’ve already achieved them, then I reckon doing a just one (full!) A Level in a year should be absolutely fine. If you’re still working on the other two, it’s probably still achievable, you’d just have to treat it more like studying four subjects than three (or that’s what I’d do!) where I’d allocate double the time to the extra one to make up for the last year. So if you feel capable enough for that, go for it, if not, maybe take a gap year to bolster up your qualifications if able?
doing the stats in as maths def wouldn't hurt you even if just making sure you're not stumped when you have to work with numbers in ur degree
