Four a levels

My school is saying that I need to quit maths, but I really like it and want to continue. I want to apply for history and French at Oxford. Currently I have 3 A stars in English lit, French, history and a C In maths. I’ve done every kind of necessary supercurricular to get in and have a very impressive PS. Should I quit maths?

If you really like maths, perhaps you could find a way to continue with it outside A-levels rather than having one average grade trailing behind your other fantastic grades 🙂 especially for a uni like Oxford

You should be able to achieve an A grade or even A* grade by doing lots of past papers.

Also, use BicenMaths, TLMaths, HindsMaths and ExamsSolutions on YouTube. 😉

OP, you have two threads running on this. Perhaps you could ask the Mods to merge them into one.

You should drop maths.

You don't know better than the OP's teachers, who are sensibly advising the OP to drop maths and focus on the other three A levels. Your breezy optimism has a certain charm, but as usual you aren't being very realistic.
