Hi @Zahrax321 ,

I would recommend getting a railcard. This has saved me a lot of money on any trains that I have got to and from university this year and you get 1/3rd off on most train journeys. Even if your train journeys are short if you are commuting, you will save enough money to make up the amount that the railcard will cost you.

I got mine for free as I got a student bank account with Santander which came with a railcard. Lots of banks have student accounts which you can open and they come with different benefits so have a look into this if you want to do something like this. I've just had a look and Santander are still offering a free 4 year railcard which should see you through your degree.
