Make a revision schedule. I recommend a physical paper one because that helped me to not ignore it (if its on an app its out of sight so out of mind!). Timetable yourself a couple of sessions per day, only short ones to start with and consider starting with just some subjects you know how to revise for well so you can get into a habit with subjects you like before moving onto ones that might be harder to motivate yourself to do.
Find how you revise. I suggest trying some different methods so that you feel studying is most effective for you. If that’s the case then you’ll be more likely to do it because you’ll think it’s more worth your while!
Give yourself rewards! There are a few ways you could do this. One is taking a break once you’ve done a revision session and doing something enjoyable like listening to some music. Or you could make a random wheel with some revision tasks plus some fun stuff you want to do. When you spin it it might make you more motivated to get rid of the tasks you dont want to do so there’s more chance you get a fun one 🙂. Another way would be to schedule yourself a day with no work, unless you miss a session and have to move it there. That way you’d be motivated to do all your sessions on their correct days so you can keep a day free to do something you enjoy.
Utilising pomodoro timers is also a good idea, there are some creative app versions of these to do with growing plants and stuff that I’ve heard of but am yet to try!
Hope that helps
