is an EPQ relevant for cs at warwick

i’m currently in yr12 doing maths, physics, cs (school dont offer further maths) and want to get into warwick to study computer science.

my school make us do an epq, but how relevant is it especially for warwick as the assignments are usually math/programming based. the only relevance i see is a better personal statement.
