Fresher in post graduate/ returning graduate halls
I just got my accommodation offer and they’ve put me in a flat with either postgraduates or 2nd/3rd/4th years. This is because it was all they had left as I went through clearing so i a pplied for accom quite late.
Is this a fairly normal for freshers to be in post grad/ returning undergrad flats or will I definitely feel the impact of it?
Also wondering who on earth I will be able to do freshers week with if my flat mates aren’t freshers??

You can certainly go to nearby flats or go to events/societies directly to meet people.. or find others on your course. But also, who's to say your flat wouldn't want to partake in Freshers too? 😎 This applies to everyone obviously, but depending on your flat, you might be with other people who want to enjoy the festivities ✨
