Can I get into top Russel group med schools with Bio, chem and psychology

Hi...

I'm currently a y12 studying bio chem psychology at A-level and I was just wondering if highly regarded universities like UCL and Edinburgh accept this combination for applications to their medicine courses or do they have any sort of bias to the bio, chem maths combination. I understand that a lot of schools don't mind what the 3rd A-level is but I just want to know if there is any advantage with taking maths.

THANKYOU )))

You need to email the unis themselves or even look on their entry requirement pages.

No advantage at all of taking maths. There are no secret lists of preferred 3rd subjects. The best 3rd is the one that you will get an A* in.

I know a lot of other Russell group unis look for a 3rd screen subject for med, typically psychology maths and physics are always on that list. It’s worth actually going onto the university websites and checking the entry requirements

I’m not aware of any other than Cambridge that look for the 3rd to be science/maths.
