Historian interpretations for A Level History NEA

I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on where to find historians opinions for my NEA, everywhere I look seems to involve buying a massive book. I've tried JSTOR but there's really nothing there. Does anyone have any alternatives?

If your school or library has a subscription to a magazine like history today or BBC history, those can be good places to get a short taste of lots of different authors, but you'll probably have to get the whole book for whichever historians you finally settle on. Do check what free resources are available though, I managed to get mine free by borrowing from teachers and my county library

Check out wiki etc to see if there are any particular debates. Also check out the references and bibliography.

And what's wrong with buying books? 😆

nothing wrong with buying books it's just that it's hard to know which are relevant before reading them.
